What Are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells, typically 0.3–0.7 mm thick, that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth to correct colour, shape, size, alignment, or surface irregularities. They are fabricated from medical-grade dental porcelain — most commonly feldspathic porcelain or lithium disilicate (IPS e.max) — and bonded using a specialised adhesive system that creates a strong, durable union with your natural tooth enamel.

At Smile Solutions, every veneer is fabricated by Greg Karabasis and our in-house laboratory team — not outsourced to a commercial laboratory. This allows for precise shade matching, direct feedback between ceramist and clinician, and a result that looks genuinely natural.
